Good, but some explanation would help

Good game, but several confusing points.

Whats the difference between "Join" and "New Game"?

Have been killed many times when a screen gets dominated with too many big players and not enough space. No point in Joining that game. But New Game takes you back to old game board.

Also, why can smaller players sometimes kill me?
